I actually have a question... I am going to start a build soon, and I need some advice. I was thinking about getting the springfield m1a national match with the stainless barrel (NA9802) and putting it in the sage alcs stock... Do you think that I am going overboard with the national match?? should I just get the "loaded" version?? I do like the idea of having everything on the rifle as "national match".. or I am just wasting money??? I just want to build the best, MOST accurate platform that is possible (in this category)... I am planning on mounting a leupold mark 4 ER/T 6.5-20x50mm M5 Front Focal Mil Dot... Is that overkill??? I just want this thing to be nasty... I always have to have the best of everything, as you can tell... your help/advice would be immensely appreciated... Thank you

First of all, I would not purchase a SAI NM (NA9802) and then take it apart. It is bedded and have all the bells and whistles right out of the box and will shoot as accurately with all the right variables in place.

What is your budget there TJ? If you can wait a bit for a good rifle build to be the best most accurate platform, then I would suggest calling LRB Arms, Smith Enterprise Inc. or Ted Brown (Shooters Den) for a quote for a custom built M1A rifle. The only issue you will have is the availability of M1A receivers in which are in constant demand in the M1A/M1A community.

Again if you cannot wait for such a build or project, then I suggest going with any of Springfield Armory Inc's Loaded models they offer and then send that build with your Sage EBR stock to the Gunsmith of your choice or you can do it yourself.

      Good Luck,
