There is one intricate modern day M14/M1A all purpose tool that was created sometime in 2009 by two firearm enthusiasts and collectors. This awesome multi-function tool will go well in your traditional M14/M1A rifle butt stock or in your tool bag when you are at the shooting range, hunting, and for that general cleaning to dissemble/assemble your M14/M1A rifle. That tool that I am referring to is the BAD- T1 THE ARMORER™(Patent Pending) from Battle Arms Development, Inc.. I can personally vouch that it is worth every penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and that ol' mighty do$$ar. Why you say?.........because I own and used the BAD-T1 after a day on the range and have no regrets on the money invested.
Each part of that tool has its own specific function. It comes without or with a pouch of the color options of Coyote Brown, Muliti-Camo and Black. The Tool Kit also comes with a step by step instruction guide that will help you through its Thirty (30) functions and configurations. At first you may be a bit confused or overwhelmed when you open that guide while looking at the photos, but once you begin to tinker around with the BAD-T1 tool here and there, the tool will be your best friend when ya get into a jam or a need of quick fix to get yourself up and shooting again. Its many functions is to remove the Gas plug, Trigger Guard, Hand guard clip, Pack Grease on the bolt roller....etc to name a few functions.
There are two great features that I personally like, and it is the .30 cal Muzzle Wear Gauge and Throat Erosion Gauge (Precision Ordnance Gauge). You will then be able to keep track after hundreds or thousands of rounds down that barrel of yours with the two of thirty great features it has . Oh yeah...........if you own a M1 Garand, The THE ARMORER™(Patent Pending) will work just a well with its thirty functions and configurations.
