Project USCG EBR14 T-Update

Well the ongoing project is definitely rolling as planned. I have finally got the last piece of the puzzle per say in acquiring the SEI USCG Muzzle Brake. So now the next step will have to make a inventory of parts that I have and list them down to make sure that all is well when I send her off to the gun smith/armorer.

The Five main parts that makes this USCG M14EBR T are:
1) Sage EBR NSG (Navy Grey Seal) MOD 0 Stock
2) SEI USCG Muzzle Brake
3) XS Front Hooded USN2 Sight/Rear .125 Ghost-Ring
4) Hawks Dummy Switch Kit
5) 22" M14/M1A Barrel

All other related parts to complete the build will be to the owners personnel choice of such brand or manufactures of their receiver, bolt, op rod, trigger group, etc.....etc......Once I confirm the parts that I will using for this project, I will make a break down of all parts, part numbers if available and relation to manufacture and list them here with future updates as needed. Just a reminder that there is a build sheet to make this easier for you. That build sheet is listed on the "Thumb Tack" side bar. I will be using that same build sheet for this project. So that being said, I will be contacting my gunsmith sometime this week or so and let him know that I will be sending Miss Tiffany in the first or second week of January.

On a side note, there is one issue to firearms owners who are like car enthusiasts, boat owners and so on is that we tend to name our firearms after female names.  Why Tiffany.....Its because the letter "T" is the second letter of my wife's first name and that name popped first up in my mind. Being that my wife's name is STELLA, I have finished the "S", "T", "E", "L". The next letter or rifle build is for the "L" and "A". It has not been determined or like I have mentioned from the other commentary, The next letter "L" will most likely be for the project "USAF PJ EBR MK14 MOD 0" clone.

The photo here shows the barrel action of "Tiffany", TRW trigger group, Hawk's dummy switch kit, XS front sight, SEI Muzzle brake, and the Sage EBR Navy Grey Seal Stock(NSG).

The Hawk's dummy switch kit in the middle is one part that I already have in my inventory. What I needed to complete this project is the XS front sight which I got last month and this past week I finally got the SEI USCG muzzle brake. In regards to the XS sight system rear sight, that's the same one that the Springfield Armory USA uses for the Socom II and Socom 16 M1A rifles. The XS .125 Rear-Ghost ring(not shown in photo).
