Safe Queen Sheba w/Range Report
Wazzup All,
Based on my commentary I made on the 1st anniversary of www.sageebr.com (4/11/11) about the "Wood" being the M14/M1A traditional stock, I will present two commentaries here about them. One is my "Safe Queen Sheba" and the other will be "Miss Eleanor". Those members of the TFL forum may have seen them and other members may have not. In all cases, every one will be able to read and see them now. Both of these rifle are dressed in their full attire having the standard traditional form in which they were made for.
These two commentaries are gonna be the last two that you will ever see and read here. I do not wanna break out of context here and have a full blown spaghetti noodle factory about both traditional and modern day M14/M1A rifles. Reason for presenting these traditional rifle here is to share that "I DO" have them and not to be blind sided and or be narrow minded here. That being said, I present "Queen Sheba" today and "Miss Eleanor by the end of this week. So check back in here when you can.

Aloha Fellow TFL Members,
First of all......I joined TFL in the first week of June 2008. I have learned and progressed a lot from all of you by reading the forum threads, talking on the phone, and exchanging PM's as such. I have joined the ranks of owning my first M1A/M14 in the week of the 4th of July. (M1A/M14 Bug has already worked its way through my system and infected me).
I decided to purchase and be a proud owner of a Springfield Armory Model# NA9102 National Match M1A w/Walnut Stock which I purchased here in Hawaii. The local gun shop I went to did not have the SA model#NA9102 so I had to place an order and make a deposit for the SA model# NA9102. Dang!!!! Sheba came within a weeks time. To my surprise when I first saw Sheba from the hands of the salesman removing her out from the rifle case........I said $%^*%!!! this SA NM walnut rifle has some pronounced Tiger Stripes. What a lucky man I said to myself. Since I purchased Sheba she has been a safe queen till last week Sunday 8/17/08.

RANGE REPORT:
Ammo Used ULTRAMAX Remanufactured
.308
168gr. Boat Tail Hollow Point Match
I am not affiliated nor endorsing ULTRAMAX .That was the cheapest ammo I can purchase and sure was a good buy and the results was an excellent one.
Prior to going to the range with Sheba, I have been in contact with dighawaii (Tom O. one of our Senior Moderator/Staff in TFL) whom I was honored to be invited to his lovely home to shake the PAWs, talk story and see his collection of M1A/M14's of all different variants.
dighawaii(Tom O.) and I was able to scheduled a day at KokoHead Shooting Complex which is located next to the famous Hanauma Bay in the Island of Oahu and here are results of Sheba.
_
50yds: 10 rounds . to sight in with Standard Pistol Paper:

50yds: I did not touch the settings of both windage and elevation. Factory settings
_
100yds: 10 rounds. Standard Pistol Paper First shot high, then suggested by dighawaii to rotate 180 degrees of the rear NM hooded aperture and the rest is history. Windage adjustment was not needed. It has been mentioned by dighawaii that if the 8'' Circle was black then all shots would be closer to the X/10 ring. My alignment/mark to target was front sight at bottom/black of 6 o'clock position,

I still need to break in Sheba when time permits for me to go to the range and will get 200m-600m reduced targets @100yds for better reference.
