USCG EBR14 T-In Progress
Whew....Its finally happening and Miss Tiffany is on her way today (4/22/11) for her new and final make over as a USCG SAGE EBRM14 T. Its been about four months since that last update and I really wanted to her sent out to my gunsmith at a earlier date but between real life issues that was going on.....it did not happen.
Anyways Miss Tiffany is now Good To GO!! and the time frame from Ted Brown (Shooters Den) will be about another three months or less depending on his work load. If any one of you may wonder or ask "Why Build A USCG EBRM14 T?", The answer to that question is this, after doing a lot of research to each U.S. Military Branch of Service for the Sage EBR, I have found out that no one has made a clone of the USCG EBR M14 T. So I have decided to take that venture and use my Sage EBR MOD 0 NSG (Navy Grey Seal) stock for that reason.

Also the other reason is that Smith Enterprise, Inc. made a muzzle brake just for the USCG and US Navy. So putting all the pieces and research to the puzzle, I finally came to that conclusion to make a USCG EBRM14 T clone. Having such a muzzle break reduces the muzzle rising from the up/down, side to side movement of the deck than the muzzle flash. Based on the photos and videos that I have seen so far, I will surely come close to getting her to the "T" even with the scope mounts and two scope options to be used after I get her sighted in with her iron sights. The optic options to be used is the EOTECH Holographic or the Schmidt and Bender scopes.
Here are a few details of the USCG EBRM14 T build as follows:
1) Install a Sadlak Extended Magazine release
2) NM 4.5lb. Trigger Job
3) Install XS Sight System Rear .125 Ghost Sight Ring
4) Install XS Sight System Front USN2 Hooded Sight
5) TRW Bolt with Chrome firing pin with USGI small parts
6) Gas Cylinder Assy. from Unitized one to a USGI Gas Cylinder
7) Install Hawk's Dummy Selector Switch.

Once I get back Miss Tiffany with her new dress attire on, I will post the more detail parts and most definitely a Range Report to follow. Until then.........its will be the waiting game for that phone call, email, etc....from Shooters Den.
Best Regards,
