Any MechWarrior Pilots out There??
By M1A96819In the early days of my young adult life, I was a very avid computer gamer and thoughts of getting married was null in void. So keeping my interests in my hobbies and video games I decided to get into computer gaming instead in the late 1990's. One day I decided to go to COMPUSA and look for an action, simulation shooter games and one particular game that got my interests or game box that caught my eye or attention was a game called MechCommander. Now this PC game started this whole craze and series. After playing MechCommader and MechCommander Gold which was a overview birds eye game, I wanted to get in the pilot seat.......... I mean in the robots itself or cockpit. While playing the two mentioned games, there was already of series of Mechwarrior from two, three and the present day back then Mechwarrior 4. Now if anyone of you back then ever played such games in which you join clans, or units to compete against each other in cyberspace for bragging rights then you most definite know what I am talking about. I can go on and on about this commentary but read on and view the video to get a better idea of what excitement and addiction I had in my early adult life.............This video is long over due and should have been one of my first on YouTube. I guess its better late than never as they say. This is one of many PC games played around the globe and I want to note that I have met many great freinds through MechWarrior via the internet.

MechWarrior 4:Vengeance is a computer game developed by FASA Interactive and published by Microsoft. It was released on November 24, 2000. This game is the fourth game in MechWarrior series. It takes place in BattleTech universe where the pinnacle of all war machines are huge, heavily armed robots called BattleMechs. The player pilots one of the these "'Mechs" and uses variety of available weapons (autocannons, lasers, missiles, and more) to battle enemy 'Mechs, tanks and other vehicles. An expansion pack, MechWarrior 4: Black Knight, was released on October 31, 2001, and a subsequent stand-alone expansion, MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries was released on November 7, 2002.
This Video dedicated to all Retired MechWarrior Pilots. We are a dying breed of gamers who spent countless of hours and hours playing this awesome exciting game in the late 90's through the mid 2000's. For those who are still gaming, I salute you all. Hopefully I will muster up myself to get back into one of the most feared Mech called the "DAISHI". I will have to jump start her give a good steam cleaning job, spit shine and dust of the cockpit and power her all up. Lets see if this old MechWarrior still got what it takes to get his reticule and targets back in sync.
