USCG Sage EBRM14 T / Project Complete

Tada!!!!........Yippe Kay Yea!!.........She's beautiful and most stunning under natural light when taking photos. As planned, my go to gunsmith did and excellent job on her new Sage EBR configuration. Mr. Ted Brown over at Shooters Den did an awesome and wonderful job on the NM trigger job and its a crispy as she can be and from the traditional tiger striped stock to the new and improve modern day stock variant clone as a USCG EBRM14 T.  The best part is the time frame that I had to wait for Tiffany. It took about six to eight weeks for the build to be completed and in my hands.

It is one of the best deliveries I had so far from our local FEDEX driver. I had used the tracking system and kinda told my boss at work that I needed to take off work on the day of the confirmed delivery date because it was a signature confirmation and I wanted to be sure I was at home so the driver does not leave her at the neighbors houses or someones door step. I had three delivery date changes in which confused my boss. But hey......I gave him advance notice. Previously the date was June 29 and then July 2, 2011. Luckily before I went off to work that early morning, I checked the progress and the new date said June 30,2011. Tiffany's confirmed date was June 30, 2011, So I called my boss at work and as nice as he is........he knew why I was calling about 6:45 am Hawaii Time. Yeah Baby!!..OORAH!!

Tiffany (USCG EBRM14 T) is now completed and she will be ready to rock and roll with me in the next few weeks at our shooting complex for a day at the range in Kokohead. Base on Mr. Brown's email and phone conversation, the function fire tests and other tasks shot great with excellent results. I am looking forward for the same results and great range report with a lot of photos to share and possibly a video as well in the upcoming weeks if all goes well between my real life issues. Hopefully by the end of this month of July.

Oh yeah..... just to let you all know that the rear ghost sight ring to the front hooded sight picture looks so cool and being its a 22" barrel set up, it is very quick to get acquired shot. I was totally surprise how good the sights lined up and be used as back up sight for target acquisitions. I can see the reason why the USCG made this decision to set up the XS sight System Like this. As for me there is no strain in the eye and the eye relief feels very comfortable with minimum adjustments needed. The The Scope/scope mount system will be determined and will be the last piece going on Tiffany. I am not sure what scope direction or configuration it will be.

Shout out to Mr. Ted Brown at Shooters Den and all members of the M14forum whom I bought parts from to complete this project USCG EBRM14 T Clone.
