Sage EBR MOD 1

Sage EBR NSG (Navy Grey Seal) to be a clone USMC M39 EMR

This project is very sentimental to me after serving in The United States Marine Corps.  I feel very fortunate to be able to have a piece of OIF/OEF USMC history.  That is why I have gone to great lengths to build this clone as accurate as possible.  The MOD 1 Gen 1, another project previously posted here and this M39 will stay in my family and will eventually one day be passed down to my kids to enjoy and so that they may better appreciate the weapon systems we used during these conflicts.

Since July of 2011, these are two EBR builds that was subjected to be finished during the month of August but got delayed by unforeseen reasons. These two EBR projects belong to my good friend Teufelhunden. Although his username sounds German or another European language, he resides in the great state of Florida, USA. There is one "Rare" piece that Teufelhunden had the opportunity to buy and that piece is a milspec USMC M40A3 scope with the correct Schmidt & Bender (not M8541 marked) and 34mm SIMRAD cap.

Real deal genuine USMC M40A3 with Badger Ordnance Maxx 50 rings and simrad cap.

I must say Teufe's enthusiasm and huge,.....I mean huge pocket book really shows his commitment to his hobby and or passion for the M14/M1A Modern Day Platforms. Teufe's has decided to have both of these EBR to be built by Smith Enterprise, Inc. and should arrive on or about this Friday 9/9/11.

I must say its "Better late than Never" and we(Sage EBR Blog Readers) are looking forward for an great Range Report with photos of the targets and lots and lots of snap shots of both EBR's there Teufelhunden!!

Note: So far I have seen two completed USMC M39 EMR's clone done by allenst65 and vette447 and I am very appreciative for them to share them here. Another one is on its way by Teufelhunden and will be a great addition as well. Is there gonna be a Third USMC M39 EMR clone out there?..............Hmmmm? Anyways, Great job guys..........Keep them Sage EBR builds a coming!!

Best Regards to all,
