Whew......well that took about two months to get the rest of the parts needed to have a clone USAF Pararescue MK14 MOD 0 started. It's not as easy do get such parts due to the reason being is that you either wait for previously owned good to excellent parts from firearms forums Want To Sale Ads or get it right away or pay the premium price of a new one. I have opted to go and get solid good used parts from other people. The main thing the parts ARE the ones you are looking for and they are genuine parts from the seller and from the right manufacture.

When looking for such parts, you gotta be there at the right time and place and the right terms of payment options. Some sellers want to be paid by using a USPS money order and that takes a lot of time for the buyer because now he/she will have to make extra errands just to go to the post office to make such a transaction. I prefer the sellers to do such transactions online for a quicker and safer way to send money. The reason doing a online transaction is that the part may be hundreds of dollars and sending via snail mail (USPS), it will take a bit longer and the possibility of getting lost and will be most worrisome (Just My Opinion). If you wanna pay extra, Go and send your funds via UPS and or FEDEX. But then again, has anyone lost their package/envelope by those ground or air carriers as well? Hmmm?........Now thats another topic of conversation around the break room.

Now the question is "When am I gonna send this build to Mr. Ted Brown?" I have called him couple weeks ago to let him know whats up coming for him and and as always, its not a problem for him. When the time comes for me to send Miss Lauren to Ted Brown, I will just have to pull a number and wait for my turn behind the other great rifle builds that Ted is doing for other customers.

Although I am mechanically incline and a mechanic by trade, the issue is that I do not have the time of day between my real life issues and for the most part the necessary gunsmiths tools of the trade
to do this little changeover. I can possibly bring the chassis to work but I will most likely get in trouble and or someone will  turn my butt in. Although is just the EBR stock, I just do no want to take any chances to go that route. Another issue is installing the dummy selector switch kit. I am very particular, cautious and finicky about installing the switch kit because these EBR chassis are all aluminum and once you mark and drill your holes for the dummy switch kit, There is no turning back. Just do to not wanna @!#*^ it up. I have no problem installing the dummy switch kits on wooden or fiberglass stocks because those stock are less forgiven then the EBR's. I will leave such tasks for the experts (Gunsmiths).

Anyhows I finally got the four key parts that I need to complete this build and they are:

1) SEI Vortex Part# 2000V
2) SEI GLFS-D-18 (Dovetail)(USN & USAF) Part# 2013 USAF Stamped version.
3) Dummy Selector Switch Kit or Button Type
4) Sage International, LTD. M14SCSB Stripper Clip Sight Base
